The Horizon & Other Lines

Living near the sea has its risks. One of them is the addicition to visit the beach and to wander by the coast without a steady course. Once there I loose notion of time and distances.

That kind of lazy walks made me pay attention to the lines drawn by Nature and those created by the Human Being in different environments.

And among all lines, the horizon: the most subtle and at the same time the most evident, an always present element of the seashore landscape.

Grazing sea or dunes, straight or waving, with the sky as a common denominator, the horizon calls me.

The photographs, the haiku and the written prose on a notebook are nothing but excuses in order to feel me another dot in that infinite line that always remains limited by my narrow sight.
